Approach
Therapy is an opportunity to build on your innate resilience and strengths. This work is person-centered and dependent on creating a trusting therapeutic relationship. To do this, I incorporate authenticity, creativity and genuine positive regard to create a space for vulnerability and growth. My approach is collaborative and action-oriented, emphasizing the development of skills and self-awareness in order to help you move towards the life you want.
My primary method of treatment is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). CBT is a family of treatment approaches including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I also incorporate aspects of interpersonal process therapy and narrative therapy.

Anxiety and worry are normal and necessary parts of life. Anxiety can even push us towards success by
encouraging us to plan ahead or to perform at our very best.
Transitions are catalysts for change in how you think about yourself. This comes from growth and from loss. These times can also bring about fundamental changes to your identity.
Being a parent is never simple. You might feel stuck in unhelpful patterns at home, feel frustrated by your child's school or be facing other situations you feel unequipped to handle.
